Advanced Software

Interactive software that is tried and proven provides a straight forward and intuitive interface. Clinicians love the ease of use and accessibility of all data both in real time displays as well as in the automated summary tables.
Protocols are provided for all applications including; return to work, joint specific, chronic pain, manual dexterity tests, worksite and Functional Job Demands Analysis.

The FACTS unit can operate in a networked application with patient data entered in at the front desk and testing performed elsewhere, as well
as on a stand alone basis in the field. The software has also been designed in Microsoft’s .Net language which is the most advanced and
versatile platform available allowing for unlimited future upgradeability and flexibility.

Reports
Report templates are fully customizable and include the ability to set your logo, change test location, and modify stock language. Since all reports are in Microsoft Word, you can rest assured that it will work seamlessly with your other Windows ® (Microsoft) applications.

Education
Our advanced CEU based educational courses including FCE Evaluator Certification occur throughout the year. Contact Global or your local representative for additional details.

EVALUATION TECHNOLOGY
Reliable Versatile Flexible Objective Standardized Accurate

Pinch Grip Strength
Key, tip, palmar and five position grasp provide
maximum versatility.

Hand Grip Strength
Standard, Maximum Voluntary Effort (5 position), Modified MVE and Rapid Exchange testing protocols are provided with left/right comparison and coefficient of variation.

Total Spine Range of Motion
Dual digital inclinometers segment out the portion of the spine to be evaluated. Lumbar, Thoracic and Cervical protocols are standard.

Extremity Range of Motion
Electronic goniometry is used to accurately assess extremity range of motion. Separate foot switch and incorporated level indicators provide ease of use.

Muscle Testing
Extremity muscle testing with multiple attachments allows you to provide full body measurements with either a hand held or fixed platform device for added accuracy.

Algometry

A digital pressure meter is used to measure consistency of pain threshold based on industry standard methodology. Industry recognized tenderness point analysis is included in
the operating software.

Static Lift Strength Assessment
Low, mid and high range tests including Horizontal Validity measures. Heart rate monitoring is also standard. Dual or single handle application is available.

Dynamic Lift Strength Assessment
Low, mid, high and overhead activities with frequent or infrequent protocols are provided. Heart rate monitoring and test termination indicators are standard.

Dynamic Push Pull Activities

The carry crate can be used in a single or dual handle configuration. It also doubles as a push / pull cart with variable handle widths and sliders. The carry crate has three handle heights for job specific matching. A cover is provided to hide the weights.

Occupational Task Testing

Methods Time Measurement (MTM’s) Industrial Standards are used to recognize the full potential of your client with accurate, research based extrapolation to an 8 hour workday. A dexterity / handling cube is included to aid in application standardization.

Occupational Task Tests included are as follows; Walk, Carry, Push/Pull Cart, Balance, Crawl, Stoop, Crouch, Kneel, Reach Immediate, Reach Overhead, Reach with Weight, Handling, Bimanual Handling, Fingering, and Bimanual Fingering. Software provides a test overview comparison that allows you to visualize the abilities presented and also allows you to provide MTM leveling of test scores based on observed effort. A summary of competitive verses non-competitive work effort is provided. The set 20 DOT indicators are tested throughout the evaluation process.

MTM Work Samples
Unique test activities are performed in below waist, waist level, shoulder and overhead postures to assess clients ability to work with sustained posture.

Full Body Range of Motion System

Our proprietary whole person range of motion instrument allows for not only qualification of working tolerance in various postures, it also combines duplicate test procedures for dexterity, handling, and additional cognitive abilities.

Work Site Assessment
With the increasing need to perform job demands analysis, the static transducer comes with various work site testing attachments to accurately measure push/pull forces in the industrial setting. Extension arms, hooks, clips and other items are included.

Functional Job Demands Analysis
Integrated Functional Job Demands Analysis software allows the clinician to create a clear picture of the clients work requirements.

Portable Platform
Lightweight and durable portable platform allows for full off site static strength assessment. Includes all handles and pole heights for low, mid, and high static strength testing. Fixed poles ensure accuracy.

Peripheral Carry Case

A durable travel case with foam inserts for each of the tools provides safe transportation for all peripherals.

Clinical Platform
An integrated system that provides both full static strength assessments combined with dynamic lift evaluation. Adjustable and rotating shelf assemblies provide maximum versatility for lifting protocols while multiple handles and our proprietary “universal testing arm” allows for multi-plane movement of the static testing head assembly. This provides full muscle testing in a fixed environment. The clinical platform is also designed with a
sloped ramp for wheelchair access.

Tool Cart
An integrated mobile tool cart provides storage for all the necessary peripherals. The cart has casters to allow for easy movement and a rear storage compartment and basket for extra accessories and cables.

Designed with Excellence

From the advanced construction techniques to the military grade components, we have taken every step to provide you with a purchase you can be proud of. A system that not only can be upgraded over time, but one that will continue to operate flawlessly in your demanding clinic for years to come.

FACTS Peripheral Control Module
Integrated technology manufactured via surface mount techniques provide accuracy and reliability unmatched in the industry. From extra ports to external reset keys and troubleshooting connectors, we have designed the system to be robust and efficient.

Lemo Connections
Cable connections are made with Medical Grade connectors to
ensure long term use and to eliminate breakdown due to cable pulls.
